The Engines that Charge the Dodge Charger

There are four engines available for the new 2016 Dodge Charger Sedan. It is important to know the differences among these motors so that you can buy or lease the 2016 Charger model that best matches your driving needs or desires. First up is a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6. Due to its popularity, this engine is used by many different makes and models of vehicles that we sell at Benson Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. In the new Dodge Charger, it produces 292 horsepower and 260 foot-pounds of torque. The other three engines for the Charger are all HEMI® V8 motors, including the 370-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI® V8, the 485-horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI® V8, and the 707-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® SRT Hellcat V8 engine. Most drivers in Greer, South Carolina, will find that the 3.6-liter V6 and 5.7-liter V8 engines deliver sufficient levels of horsepower and torque to handle everyday driving needs while providing plenty of excitement, as well.
