2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee vs 2023 Jeep Cherokee
Built to Stand Out
No less Grand, the Jeep Cherokee makes a compelling case for ownership. While the 2023 Cherokee is a carryover model featuring a lot of the same designs as the 2022 model, and the Cherokee line hasn't had a redesign since 2014, the 2023 Jeep Cherokee still features a lot of premium features and the line is expected to have a redesign in 2025.
So far, not a ton is known about the 2023 Jeep Cherokee but we do know a lot about the carry over model based on the 2022 model. A release date for the model is anticipated for fall of this year. We can expect a fuel efficiency of around 19MPG for city mileage and 27MPG for highway mileage, with front wheel drive standard and four wheel drive available. The towing capability is up to 4,500lbs and a standard engine that features a 180 horsepower 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine.
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is another vehicle that makes a compelling case for ownership. Starting at $40,000 MSRP, the Grand Cherokee sits at 19MPG in the city and 26MPG on the highway with a 3.6 liter V6 engine. The Grand Cherokee also had options for a 5.6 liter V8 engine. In the standard 3.6 liter PENTASTAR V6 engine, you can expect 293 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque, and a 6,200 lbs towing limit.
If you're looking for space, look no further. The Grand Cherokee offers 2 row and 3 row options, with plenty of cargo room: 84.6 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down, and a whopping 70.8 cubic feet with only one of the rows folded.
All of this plus a 10.1 inch infotainment system that uses Uconnect5 which delivers speeds that are five times faster than the previous unit. Not to mention the McIntosh MX950 entertainment system that features nineteen different speakers and a seventeen channel amplifier delivering up to 950 watts of power and a 10 inch subwoofer. In other words, if you love your entertainment system, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a compelling choice with a premium entertainment system.
