New 2023 RAM 1500 Overview

With the success that the RAM truck has seen over the years, it's no surprise that the 2023 RAM 1500 will have a popular newly revamped style. The RAM has been one of Edmunds top-rated full size pickup trucks for the past decade or so, and with its comfortable ride, upscale interior, and overall grit, we're sure it will continue to rank the same for years to come. So what will be different in 2023?

The interior will likely get an upgraded appearance, with more options and a larger touchscreen. It has been rumored that seat massagers will be optional as well! The RAM 1500 interior will still include luxurious style with sturdy materials.

The current 1500 includes four different powertrains. A 3.6-liter V6 engine is standard, while a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, a 5.7-liter V8, and a 6.2-liter V8 engine are available. Power ranges from 305 horsepower up to 702 hp. All engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. We don't expect these engines to change, beyond some minor upgrades at the most, such as improving the 1500's towing capabilities from the 2022 model.
